Individual Counseling
Would you like to look at your relationship issues on your own – perhaps because your partner is not (yet) ready to come along, you need to make a difficult relationship clarification and decision, or you want to understand why certain patterns keep repeating?
In individual counseling, you clarify your part in the relationship dynamic and develop a clearer understanding of why you react the way you do in certain situations. When unresolved conflicts, breaches of trust, or disappointments weigh you down, the counseling process helps you understand yourself better again and regain your ability to act.
This work lays the foundation for you to be able to have conversations as a couple later and can precede couples counseling. Or you come alone to clarify your decision about the future of the relationship or to prepare for a separation.
In counseling, it's not about "changing the other person," but about starting with yourself. You learn to perceive your own parts, wishes, and boundaries more clearly – and from this, develop new ways for communication, closeness, and self-confidence. This way, you can shape relationships based on authenticity, respect, and mutual understanding.
