Phyllis Lechner

Psychological Counselor (BSc Psychology, University of Zurich)

I have been working for several years in resilience counseling and crisis management, where people and organizations are under pressure and clarity, communication, and stability are crucial. This experience also shapes my work with couples: When communication no longer works, conflicts repeat themselves, or everyday life takes up too much space, I help to overcome crises and emerge from them stronger. At the same time, I also accompany couples who want to consciously strengthen and develop their relationship and invest in the quality of their togetherness.

I'm interested in how relationships can grow under pressure, not despite the challenges, but precisely because of them.

My Approach

My way of working is based on scientifically proven, effective methods and combines them with a benevolent, warm atmosphere. It's important to me that you feel comfortable with me, because only then can we work effectively on your goals.

The starting point is you as a couple: Your individual strengths and difficulties form the basis on which we build. We develop clear structures, create sustainable connections, and translate insights into concrete routines, so that closeness, trust, and cooperation grow noticeably in everyday life. For this, you will receive practical tools that you can apply yourself in challenging situations.

I work according to a systemic approach. This means we don't look at difficulties in isolation, but in interaction with the relationship and environment. Instead of looking for blame, we make patterns and communication loops visible and develop new, helpful ways of being together.

I offer counseling in German and English. Online appointments are possible, so we can work on your goals via video call, regardless of where you are.
